Pusy Queen Of Slut Town

I never paid attention to Rilo Kiley until a few months ago. That was when I heard Jenny Lewis' voice. It is so mesmerizing and beautiful. I love it. So naturally, I bought her CD and it was good. Although, there was only one song I really listened to, but that one I loved. Then yesterday I saw this on iTunes. And seeing as I had money to burn I bought a few songs. I really, really love them. Soem people say this CD is a sell-out or whatever. Who cares? They still sound amazing. My favorites are: Dejalo, Close Call(favorite)Silver Lining, The Moneymaker, and The Anels Hung Around.Give this CD a listen. You won't regret it.
Also, check out The Brunettes. They have a different sound to them, but worth it. Her voice is haunting and melodic. I bought: Small Town Crew ( favorite), Stereo, Her Hairagami Set, and Wall Poster Star. Seriously, Small Town Crew is worh 99 cents.

Truck Driving Magic Mama

Hoodies! Seriously, I don't think there is anything in this world I love more than hoodies. Except pineapple and Diet Dr. Pepper.
Top Right: It's pretty much plain, but I still like it. Plus, fleece. Yeah. I just want to curl up in it, it looks that comfy. Here for $39.50.
Bottom Right: PacSun. Haven't been there in ages... maybe I should start again? The blue- teal color is one of my favorites. It's reversible- both sides are beautiful- and that's about it. Plain, simple, pretty hoodie. And in my book that makes it news worthy. Here for $59.50.
Middle: Everything in me screams "Hate this!" I'm not sure why, just does. And yet, I find myself not able to. The awkward shape looks weird, but I can just imagine wearing it. It feels right. Plus the short sleeves- it all seems to work. Here for $233. Ha yeah right.
Top Left: I've always has a thing for stripes. I don't own a lot, but I like pretty much anyhting that is striped. This is yet another fleece-y hoodie and it's from Hollister. I don't shop there, but the logo isn''t that obtrusive and it is so pretty! I also love the green color. Here for $44.50.
Bottom Left: Free People. I have really begun taking a liking to Free People lately. I just wish there was a store around me. From what I can tell, it's terry cloth with flannel accents. Now, I've never liked flannel, but since it's such a small amount I think it works. It adds a certain vibe. Here for $78.

No Clever Post Title... Makes Me Sad

I know I am horrible. I am scum. I am, well maybe not scum. I've let my life completely override this blog and all the wonderful people who read. To tell the turth, I never thought anybody would read it. So thank you and yay me! Haha just kidding. Now that school has officially started and soccer has begun again, I will make time for you. I have a whole hour dedicated to it in my planner. Yes, i have a planner- was not my idea.
Now, since it won't let me upload pictures tonight- I tried 5 times- I just wanted you to know that I will come back to you. Now you don't have to pull out your hair ( haha). An I think I have run out of Veronica Mars title for my posts. Perhaps it's time to pick a new show? Oh well, we'll see tomorrow what it is.

Chesty LaRue

I fear I have completely neglected you my gentle readers. ( I have always wanted to say that!) Hopefully, now that my life is not so out of whack and crazy, I can once again devote my time to oyu. SO enjoy four favorites from Urban Outfitters and one special one from Fred Flare. I saw Nicole Richie wear this Disney Couture Castle necklace a long time ago. Since then, I have been continuously on the hunt for it. And guess what? I found it, now all I ahev to do is find $80 to blow on it. Hmm...
This Arcade Print Tee is just plain fun. It is a basic, simple gray. Yet, the graphics add a puch which keeps it from being boring. I'm thinking of getting it for back to school. It's just the sort of laid back-ishness I love for the first few months of school. $28.

Truly Madly Deeply Striped Hoodie. Come on! A name like that alone makes me want it. It's bright, it's comfy, it's all good. I live in hoodies or sweaters everyday. I am always wearing one, no matter the weather. I think it's an addiction. Pretty much started when my best friend and I would wear sweatshirts everyday, all day no matter what in 5th grade. Hm, something to ponder. $54. Part sophistication, part do whatever the hell you want with it. That is the thing I love about basics and such like this. I can do no matter what to it and it will still look good. This Lux Herringbone Tweed Mini, is what I have been looking for. Well, sort of. I was looking for one exactly like this, except without the pinstripe. Oh well, take what you can get. $38.

And finally. A VERY preppy, VERY innocent-y dress. It is actually a Free People, but it is on the Urban Outfiters website so, it works. Polka Dot Open Back Dress- the mint green color reminds me of summer and a new school year. Both. I love the way the striped band breaks up the allover white polka dots. $88.

Haven’t You Heard? I’ve Got Friends In Low Places

Okay. So technically, I would never, ever wear this. Nothing is wrong with it, I just am not big fan of coats. ( I don't really need them where I live) On the other hand, I love houndstooth and it projects a strong mod vibe. It would look great when paired with something simple and basic. It would really punch it up. Hurry, though, because there are only 5 left! Here for $95. I am just such a sucker for anything fun and kitcshy. It just makes me smile seeing something so carefree and it makes me feel like a little kid. They add that childish ( in a good way) air to anything. Here for $18.
Wow. Ok, where to start? First off, it's a ring. That makes it okay in my book. Secondly, look how huge it is! And it is just so sparkly and not at all garish. I would wear this everyday for pete's sake. Can you imagine all the things you would wear it with? Plus, it resembles nothing like real at all. Here for $6.

Ah, It's Like a Little Kitchen Area, Huh?

Okay, so I have been having a severe case of writer's block lately. I should be better in a week or so, but for now you'll have to just look at the pictures. Sound good? I'm not going to put links to these items. They are all from alloy.com If there are any that you really love or want to check out and can't find it on the website, then just tell me and I will help.

Hey Flo Jo! Slow Your Ass Down

Sorry for this being short today. I just got back from the beach and am exhausted, but I wanted to give you something. So look and enjoy these little necklaces. Boat neckalce- It's 14k gold and it's a friggin sailboat! $190 here.
Car necklace- Again, 14k gold and a friggin car! Whatis not to like about these? Anybody? Didn't think so. $190 here.

I have a desperate plea for everyone. I used to go to this clothing website religiously, but not lately. Now I have forgotten the name and can't for the life of me remember it. It sold higher priced items like shopbop does. I think it started with a T... or maybe a J? Please, if anybody has any idea what I',m talking about please let me know!

Guess I Just Decided To Call Her Doris

Sorry I have been MIA lately. I wasn't even gone for anything good. No vaction or anything. Summer just got way to crazy and now I'm going to try and stay on track. Yesterday I got a Free People catalog in the mail and had no idea what it was. So naturally, I fired up google and went looking to see what I could find out. There are some cute things there, but not all of it is. So here you are, enjoy.
Top Right: Am I the only one who thinks that these boxers would be so amazing to sleep in? Just look at them! There is no way that those wouldn't be comfortable. $38 here.
Bottom Right: This Ocean Drop neclace is so simple, yet it looks stunning. The color of the chalcedony stone is beautiful and the lines a clean. A too much $128 here. Why are you so expensive?
Top Middle: On sale! Yes that's right, this Boyfriend bracelet is only $39.95 down from $58. Still too damn expensive for this, but oh well it's cute. I like the copper-y color of the chunky chain. It really sets of the medallion? Is that the right word? Anyway, get it here.
Bottom Middle: Yet more proof that my jewelry collection must be owned by five people. The Bubble rings are just too fun and bright not to show you. They make me happy just looking at them! They're $12 each, kind of pricy. You could probably find cheaper ones at Forever 21, though. Here.
Left: This dress just speaks to me. It is a rugby-stribes, empire-waisted, lace detailed bodice, cute dress. Mouthful, huh? Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do it justice. I wouldn't use the long-sleeve thermal under it probably, but then again you never know. $108 here.

Stop Dressing Like Little Bo Peep and He'll Stop Peeking

Here are some lovely goodies from Modishoppe. I love Modish and was so excited when she got this shop. There are some awesome goods in there so check it out!
Top left: This necklace has a nice, romantic feel to it. It has the dictionary meaning of "friendly" with a black bead to accent it. It's from Modishoppe and made by Foundling and it's $40.
Bottom Left: This screened pillow cover showcases a row of buildings with an icy blue tree in front with birds. I love it. This pillow cover would definately add some sophistication to any room . Unfortunately, it is sold out on Modishoppe, but I liked it so much I am showing it to you anyway. Made by Jenna Rose.
Top Right: This "diamond" necklace is made from glazed pink porcelain. It is a fun new way to wear "diamonds"! The necklace has a cracked, aged feel to it and really could work with anything. Again, it's from Modishoppe and made by Lusterbunny. $25.
Bottom Right: I absolutely love the colors on this hoodie. The bright teal heart/damask print nicely contrasts the chocolate brown of the hoodie. You can tell just by looking at it that it'sgoing to be soft and on the inside it's lined with fleece! I really think that this hoodie would look nicely in just about anyone's wardrobe. From Modishoppe, made by Noo Works. $72.

His Nemesis? Did We Break Up?

Okay. I know I have been away for a while. I was on a mini vacation for 4th of July. It was so much fun and we launched off a lot of fireworks. The best part was getting to see my cousins whom I have not seen or hung out with in too long. So to get back on track here, I will show a little graphic tee-ness for all. This tee is from Delia's and I love it. I am a fan of these doodle-esque shirts, yet I do not own one. Why? I'm not sure but I may be getting this one. What's not to like? $22.

This one is very similar to the French Fry and Taco shirt that they made. I think I may actually like this one less, but this one is a Hot Dog and Chinese Carton! Plus, it's pink and I need to integrate more of this color into my wardrobe. Delia's for $24. Ahh. A whale, so adorable and fun. Come on, seriously. Can any of you say you have seen a cartoon whale and not fallen in love? Have you not gone "He is so cute!"? A bonus is that it is a hockey style shirt, I am getting into those lately. From Alloy and it's $24.50.
And last but not least, my favorite. I have seen this shirt around for quite a while and even have a picture of the drawing on my bulletin board. I love Golden Girls, I have ever since I was little. It is just so awesome, I will let you just bask in it..............okay basking's over. The only gripe I have ( and it's a small one) is the color. I just on no way look good in gol-ish yellow. Sigh...
At Palmer Cash for $21.97.

Clue In, Donut

Okay, so I went to the mall today and I decided to show everyone what I got. Unfortunately, the pics are all from the internet because my camera broke and I haven't had time to fix it. Top left: I stumbled across these RocketDog slip ons and thought they were cute. Very summery if you ask me. It didn't hurt that they were only $20.

Bottom left: I'm pretty sure this is the top I got. It is from urban Outfitters and is a nice bright reddish. It's perfect for throwing over a bathing suit, at least that's what I'm gonna use it for. Or dress it up.

Middle: Also from Urban Outfitters, it's a glitter bangle. I love the shape because it isn't perfet and the color with the glitter in it is so festive and fun. 4th of July, anyone?

Top Right: I got 4 AE Favorite Pocket t's from American Eagle. The thing I love most about AE is that they make the softest, most comfortable plain t's ever. I have so many of them in so many colors. The bonus today? They were on sale for $6.95 each! Hell yes! How can you beat that?

Bottom Right: Once again from Urban Outfitters. I've been in the market for a purse for a couple of months now and I finally broke down and bought one. This quilted bag is tall and sort of narrow, but it has lots of pockets and I just like it. That is pretty much my basis for buying anything.

So that's what I got, well almost all I got. I got some hot pink duct tape too. Who knew they made hot pink duct tape?

You'd Think If Hell Froze Over, Maybe It'd Be On The News

What do you get when you cross an extremely bored necklace addict and a site with a bunch of 'out there' necklaces? Me spending 20 minutes searching the site for anything I would buy. Let's just say that if I had a credit card with me, I would now officially be in debt! Girlprops.com is amazing for wacky jewelry. They also have not so wacky jewelry so it is a great site to check out. SO these are my top four favorites right now on the site. I really want the crayons one and the toothpaste tube one. I am tired of writing and I have nothing to say so look at the pictures and then bowse. :) Oh! All of thes necklaces are $ 9.99 or $5.99.

But If You're Like Me, You Just Keep Chasing The Storm

Kristen Bell, Kristen Bell,Kristen Bell. Why are you so hit or miss in your fashion choices. Now, in the past you have made more than your share of mistakes( I am willing to forget all about them under one condition). You need to wear things like these two dresses. Finally, you have started to look like the amazing star you are. But did you have to wait til your show was over? Anyway I love you, as was said on your tv show you are as "cute as a button", and now (finally) I can add stylish to the list! Yay!. I am not a huge fan of this ( mainly because of the shoes) but I will cut you some slack. It is definitely better than some outfits you have worn. You look cute. Just one word of advice: lose those shoes. they are absolutely hideous!

Hallelujah! This dress is fantastic. You hit a home run every way imaginable. The blue color is good, the dress itself is good, and I don't hate the shoes. Yay! You look so fresh and cute in this one, definitely the best dressed! I really do love you in this dress. Pleas keep it up!

If You're Not Going To Shoo It Out With The Newspaper, I'm Stepping On It

I was looking in a magazine yesterday( I don't remember which one because I saw it at the doctor's office.) Anyway, there was a voluminous thank top under a cardigan with a fluffy-ish skirt, wedges, a belt over it, and a clutch. The clothes they chose were so completely ugly so I decided to re-do it. With better clothes of course. So here it is. The cardigan is form J. Crew and is $59.50. The blue eyelet tank is $38, the knit skirt is $24.99, sueded snake belt is $14.99, the espadrilles are $38, and the framed clutch is $34. Granted it's an expensive-ish outfit, but isn't it cute? I really love the clutch, especially the electric blue color of it. And I'm a big fan of cardigans, something about them is amazing. ( How many times do I use that word?) SO there it is.

And I Ignored It And Moved On. Keep Up.

I was tagged... so here are the random facts! But first, the rules:

RULES:Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

Here we go:

1. I love the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I get fuzzy, warm feelings everytime I clean something with one. I don't really like to clean, but when I use the Magic Eraser I am happy. I literally went around the house one day and clean everything I could find with one.

2. I love Buffy The Vampire Slayer. At first I scoffed, but now I have come to love it. I have seen every episode in less than 2 weeks, that's dedicated. Now I ahve a second favorite show( nothing can beat Veronica Mars). Personally, now that it's over, I have an idea as to what would be the best spin off ever! Ready? The Clem, Giles, and Angel Show! With a guest starring role by Miss Kitty Fantastico. Perfect!

3. I secretly watch Hannah Montana. Shh! Tell no one.

4. I started to try and make icons/ avatars on the computer. No one knows that, but now you do! I just wish I could have Photoshop.

5. Soccer is by far the best sport to play ever. I have played it for so long, it's a part of me. I guess that's what 9/10 years will do to a girl.

6. I have an iPod Nano and it is completely full. The surprising thing is that when i got it, I thought I would never fill it up. I didn't evenknow I knew of that many songs. Every song, save a couple, were bought from iTunes... That's a lot of money. Can't wait for Christmas.

7. I'm obsessed with anything shiny or that sparkles. Even a brand new doorknob makes me happy and excited.

Well, that's it! I haven't decided who to tag, so I'll post the names when I do.

See This Face? It's My Over The Moon Face

For some unexplicable, yet wonderful reason, I am completely drwan to allover bold, graphic print dresses. There is something so mystic-y and powerful about them. So anyway, here are 3 of my favorites that I found today. This Velvet Torch Mod Border Print dress was my favorite until I found the one below. This dress is so young and fun, it just screams summer. The colors are beautiful, and I love the black border because it breaks the monotony of the print up. $48. So inexpensive!
Low and behold, my favorite! This dress reminds me of seventies wallpaper or something, it just draws me in and holds me hostage. The sleeves are ruffled, so it gives the bold print a little feminine edge, which really pulls it together. Now, this T-Bags print ruffle dress has a deep v- neck, be careful when wearing anything with a deep V. You can not fathom how much it bugs me when I see women with humongous plunging v- necks and they don't care. Make sure everything is where it is supposed to be and ask someone how you look for pete's sake! Back to the dress, it's $216.

Now, I was going to have another dress, one where the print is so gorgeous, but Anthropologie.com has decided that they are going to go all flash or whatever. Now I cannot copy any pictures from their website( which really pisses me off). I love Anthropologie and I always save pictures of the thigns I want or just ove. I have given them hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, just in the short time I have known they were alive ( which has been less than a year I might add). So just go here and see the dress. It's $ 118. Grr... I am still so mad. And sad... I'm SMAD! ( Gilmore Girls quote!- just saw it)
One thing about the Anthropologie dress, it has a smocked bodice( you know the stuff that's on those horrid tube top things? You know what i'm talking about, right? I hate those things, they smoosh everything and make you boobs so small and weird, just don't wear those, please!). Just bask in the fabulousness of the print on this dress.

The Hero Is The One That Stays And The Villan Is The One That Splits

I am seriously loving The Kooks right now. It all started a week or two ago when iTunes had Ooh La for free. Best. Day. Ever. At first I wan't sure I'd like it, but then I listened to it and WHAM! yes, wham. I can't stop listening to these guys. My favorite tracks are Ooh la, Naive, and She Moves In Her Own Way. Actually, those are the only tracks I bought, but they're still my favorite! I usually get bored with music for a while after about 2 weeks, so far it hasn't happened yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because I love them ( have I mentioned that yet?). So what I'm saying is go buy The Kooks. I don't care if you buy one song, or the whole CD, just as long as you listened to them. They are very good and I'm sure that if you gave them a chance, you'll fall in love too.

Flat? Just As God Made Me

They have put up the 'Next Big Thing' winners on Fred Flare. Finally, Yay! I love Fred Flare and I get so excited when they get new things. Here are my favorite things from the contest. ( Which I was going to enter, but got sidetracked. Damn short attention span!) These candy wall decals are so fun! These sweet treats for your walls are completely removable(not re-useable) and come with 12 per sheet. What is not to love about these? Definately get them for $20 a sheet.
A fairy tale wrist clutch? Hell yes! This clutch is the coolest thing you could possibly find to carry around your essentials. I would even offer to do grocery shopping if it would mean I could show this off.The clutch comes in four fairy tales: Red Riding Hood( pictured), Jack and the Beanstalk, Wizard of Oz, and The Gingerbread Man. $26.
Octopuses? Octopi? Whatever! These creatures are definately not cute in real life, but these pins show that they can be. These palyful pins show each little octopi( think that's right) differently. I'm a sucker for any sort of pin that is cute or any pin for that matter. $6 for all five!! How can you beat that? You can't.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Are you always this persnickety? Sometimes I'm even persnicketier.

I absolutely love bags and everything that looks like a bag. At one time I had so many bags that my mother went on a rampage and made me give away most of them. Now I think I am over compensating because I have about as much as I did then. Time to hide them I guess. These are all from Urban Outfitters. This is so awesome. This Art Series canvas tote is bright, fun, and can hold just about everything. I believe the print is from Mark Allen Miller. $38.
I have been trying to get this burlap doctor bag for a few months now. I would buy it in a heartbeat, unfortunately I do that a lot. I am now officially broke. It is very big, but so cute and you could put just about anything in it and carry it where ever. You want the Aqua/brown colre scheme, because it looks better than the cream/brown, trust me. $58.
This printed cord tote in teal w/ hot pink is too cool. Yes I said 'too cool', what of it? Didn't think so. It's on sale right now and it would be so perfect for the beach or anytime during the summer. $ 24.99.

Veronica Mars, She's A Marshmallow

Veronica Mars. How do I love thee? Too many ways to count! Okay, why don't more people watch this show? It is an amazing show and anyone no matter their age can get into it. I'm telling you, it is the best show ever. When it first came out on UPN, I scoffed at it and wouldn't watch it at all. I thought it was stupid. Turns out, I was the stupid one! I saw the first episode ofseason 3 and when out and biought the season 1 and 2 DVDs. And I have never, ever regretted it. the show is addictive, smart, hilarious, and everything a great show is. You will love this show, no matter what other shows you like. If you think it is stupid, isn't the kind of show you watch, or even if you've seen one or more episodes, TRY AGAIN! That's all I can say, rent or buy the DVDs and watch all the episodes. Veroncia Mars is better when you watch it in chronological order, because there is a storyline there. if you've only see one episode, of course you are not going to see it genius. So, please! Give this show a chance, you will never regret it. It's on Tuesdays on The CW at 9pm pacific. You know what they say, Veronica Mars, she's a marshmallow.

I'm Gonna Run Him Over With My Karma

Shoes! You have to wear them, but that doesn't mean they have to suck. These skimmers are cute personafied! I love these $60 Nanette Lepore for Keds Script print skimmers. They have romantic script written all over them and they are just too amazing. Way on the other end of the fashion spectrum, we have this cute tee. This Pearls & Chains tee by Public Library, I have no words. It is just a basic white tee with a raw - edged v neck and layered screenprinted pearls and chains. Hence the name. I have always liked these tees, but have never been able to buyone. Now I found one and you can be sure I'm buying it. The tee is $54 at Metroparkusa.com.

Seriously, Don't I Just Blend Right In? Come On. Where's Weevil

Okay here we have this gorgeous dress. Oh my god am I in love! It's so chic and you could wear it to a dinner or even a party if you wanted. Totally justifies the not too expensive $168 you will have to spend.
Then there is the leather gold- finish skimmers from Bettye Muller. They are so cute, would be perfect for this dress. Only $328. Ha! A girl can dream right?
And to finish this feast for oyur eyes off, we have a great bangle. It is a vintage watch suspended in clear casting resin. What is not to love about this bangle? Seriously, you go pretty much go any way with it. It's $298, way too expensive, but you could make your own if you bought resin and an old watch. I want this so bad, i guess I have an excuse to finally buy that resin I've been eyeing.

A Drunk Dingo Had A Three Way WIth An Ocelat And A Porcupine

I love this cardigan sweater from Ben Sherman. I'm not entirely sure why, to tell you the truth. I like the way that you could pretty much work this sweater any way, for most occasions. At least that's what I'm telling mysely to justify spending $89 dollars on it. But in all seriousness, you really could work it so many ways. It's basic, simple, and completely perfect! If, unlike me, you can but this gorgeous sweater then by all means you must! Get it here.
Hidden Palms and Traveler are on tonight! Watch them, they are bothe very different, very good shows. Hidden Palms is on The CW at 8pm pacific and Traveler is on ABC at 10pm pacific. Go watch! And buy that sweater.

I Don't Have Time To Be Responsible For Everything That Goes Wrong In Your LIfe

This is the second part of my summer extravaganza!
This swimsuit is pretty much unattainable, but use it as a guide. That's what all my posts are for, really. I love the diagonal stripes. By Ashley Paige. This one, on the other hand, is completely possible. This number is from American Eagle Outfitters. The top is $24.95 and the bottoms are $19.95. I love the colors and the way it looks in person, so beautiful.
This swimsuit is perfect for summer. The blue is bright and the heart and stripes add a little flair to it. For some odd reason I love side-ties. Go check it out at Pac Sun. It's Billabong and the bikini top is $24.99 as are the bottoms. So cute! This one is my absolute fav out of the bunch. It is by Tommy Hilfiger by way of Delia's and It to die for. I like the anchor and rope on the top. I adds a fun little kick to an otherwise basic suit. Here for $37.50 and $33.50 for the top and bottoms, respectively.

This one by Raisins Swimwear is adorable. It seems like a fun, easy option for your beach-going needs! I'm not sure where to purchase this, but if you go to their website and search for your state you just might be able to find out. :)

Nobody likes a blonde in a hamster ball

This is post 1 of a collection of summer posts.
It's summer time! Let's take a look at a few fantastic dresses for those warm days.

This dog walk dress is so light and summery. It would work for a party on the beach or going to luch with friends. Get it here. It's a bit pricey at $108, but still swing-able.
I am in absolute LOVE with this dress. This Ella Moss creation is amazing.! It's flirty, it's summery, its perfect! Get it here for $162.
This Lux Colorblocked Pocket dress is great wether you're on the go with a summer jjob, a beach cover up, or just hanging out with friends. It comes in other colors, too. Get it here for $58.

This dress, a Betsy Johnson Starfish dress, is totally lust-worthy! It's the epitome of summer cool and is so feminine and just gorgeous. Get it here for a whopping $370. If I had that cash to burn, I'd be wearing it right now!
